IRAQ

Post by Beltamaxx »

I have a lot to say about this mess, but, I'll leave it up to you to decide. Here's a great site to learn more then the government is willing to share with you.

Man that is a complicated question. Seems like its just dragging on and on. But I had a friend say to me that since we made the mess there , maybe its our responsibilty to stay and try and fix it? A lot of Iraq is made up of normal families just trying to have some kind of life just like anyone else. Then it becomes a question if we really can fix it with so few troops and no real world support. We are trying to control a country with only something like 150,000 troops? Even Sadam had an army 10 times that amount and I guess thats what it took. Anyway, what a freaking mess!

I agree Darth, after watching "Charlie Wilson's War" It's made me think of the possible
outcome. But, we are deep in debt and this is the reason Bush will not say a thing about the China
protests, they own us. The last thing anyone would do, is talk shit about their loan shark
that holds the deed to their house.

At the moment we've reached over 500 billion spent on this war, at a rate of 200,000 a minute.
Here's a link http://www.nationalpriorities.org/costofwar_home

Sad is all these billions are going to over payed contractors like Halliburton,
KBR & Blackwater, that are all ex-CIA, FBI, Military, and politicians. In other words,
we're getting screwed by our own people. They all have a monopoly on the contracts,
THEY DO NOT BID FOR CONTRACTS, because they all have connections to our
government, oh, and we're paying for it. This may go on for a long time, if we don't get out of Iraq.

I can go on forever talking about how corrupt this war is, but it's Americans I'm concerned
about, here and in Iraq

The most important factor is we have kids proud to die for or freedom, well bush is giving it
to China and contractors. It's like Bush is making sure democrats have too big a mess to
manage, to ensure they'll be removed in 4yrs.

4078 dead as of today and counting, sad but true. Also, the kids that make it home because of injuries
are not being properly supported by our government. This year they voted against putting only 2 billion aside for
them, John McCain a POW was 1 of them.

Here a link for the Casualties http://icasualties.org/oif/

As I said before I can go on forever with many good reasons to end this mess.
