so thats why the server has had a lot fewer ctc and dd people on it lately? you've all been playing on a different private server? no wonder.

sad to see the public server go, I was starting to warm up to vctf as a gametype. plus a lot of the people here are fun to play with. hope the private server thing works out.

I tried the LOTRO. Its just like every other MMORPG experience ="highlight bad guy, mash buttons" and "fetch crap quests".
MMO's need to focus more on fun.

LOTRO is not my kind of game at all, but I imagine if you liked the books you would probably enjoy the game.

instead of moving to a new host, I'll be keeping this server, just bumping it down to 12 slots and adding a PW. Vent, forums, etc will stay the same. I'm planning on doing this on March 1 now. There.

Wow, so this is THE END OF DAYS!!?? I really enjoy(ed) jumping on this server for a few rounds (cheaper than therapy!) mostly because of the folks, as my UT skills are limited; I don't even know how to get on to servers if they aren't listed within the game (duh). Hope I'm allowed in the private heavenly bosom of CTC salvation and not cast down into the fiery pit of eternal exclusion . . . guess there's always poker . . .

Hi there to all, I just wanted to say I did'nt really get to know that many people that played on the CTC server and that is sad but I would like to thank CTC for putting up the wonderful server to play on.........for me the last several months.
Hopefully I will be permitted to play on the other server and get to know more of the players that play. So again CTC thank you the great games.

I am surprised this didn't happen earlier...password protecting the server.

Props to CTC for keeping the UT heart beating for many. Many fun games that will not soon be forgotten.

The game may change but it is the community that keeps people coming back.
