Carpal Tunnel Clan

Well, I guess all things must come to pass sooner or later. It was a great run, Sal and Jim, I'd like to extend my thanks for keeping the VCTF community alive after the death of the HOG server and the rest. I'm glad you guys actually made CTC a clan(and not just a fake tag you both put on your names to look important ), it has been a pleasure playing alongside of you two and watching this whole thing take off. I hope that we will have many more good games in the future, no matter what the game may be. It is sad to see this happen as I fear this might mark the end of the VCTF community. I'm going to try and be optimistic and see what happens on the private for a couple months. Good games.

Just saw this...it is sad, but the community will live on...and if it wasn't for the 7 year old game, i wouldn't have met all of you guys...hey...i might come back sooner or later in the future too....

LOL! This cracks me up because MRM knows exactly how CTC was started: Sal and I looking to put on some stupid tag just to look like we're able to 'bring it'. That was back in the Fat Jimmy's and BEL days, and look at us now! We still can't 'bring it' but we've had quite a few laughs about it along the way.

Thanks to Fear as well, for he has quietly donated more than a couple times, and was one of the few that kept us going as long as we did.

^yeah, you guys can play, you're just not very vocal about it (that is, you're not dicks).

and at Fear, this game has always been really addicting. It's crazy how some of the friends I've made playing it over the years have taken long breaks only to relapse eventually.

I too hope the private server works out as planned. I heard there are other private vctf servers out there already, are they doing okay as far as being populated?

yeah...to bad it is going away, but as long as we use the fourms...<{CTC}>will live on.

HTM has a vctf server that plays pretty well for me , think it's vanilla .
Think it's Texas . Hopefully can stir up some public games there .
Don't know of any others now that Meh's campaign for
PWC vCTF failed ~cry..

I still would like to play from time to time so can someone tell me of another server that I can play on to have fun besides the laggy VM server??

So where do I sign-up (or get picked) for new server and where is that darn donation page ( I used it a couple of times, but can't find the PayPal link

Hey Jim, why noty accept donation anymore? It's still going to cost to run the server...and some of us are still inetersted in supporting the privatization of the cause.
