I updated the name to 'Hirsch's Server'

Right now it's vanilla team deathmatch. I will upload my script by this weekend at the latest. Still need to setup the redirect and all the stuff I've completely forgotten.

I really don't enjoy the game without my mod, so I probably won't play much till that's up :/

We did some co op stuff then nosed around to see what maps were out there. Noticed Slax, shoebox, and Lostmarinearena etc. - going to see if there is a map cache extractor later...too pooped to do it now.

I backed up much of my server. Unfortunately not many of the DM maps :(

If you want VCTF maps I can upload a couple of the packs I made for folks a while back. I recommend the server stay as DM right now as it's way more fun than 4v4 VCTF...

Nice!!! Thank you hirsch and Ghosted. I'm thinking an IntenseIce conversion can be done in a few hours. And YES... another one badasp. I've got a lot on my plate at the moment, so I'll shoot for monday afternoon.

Bean you are a champ! Did you ever look into the ut2k4 to ut3 map converter? I heard it kindof worked, like at least you get the geometry, but have to apply all the meshes yourself. Seems like the geometry is much of the work though.

Found a cache extractor...got the utcomp and ghosted mod along with a couple maps. Will try to hop in tonight between this and 2k4 to see if any interest.

Sorry to be a ding dong, but I used that cache extractor and extracted Ghosted's mod and for the life of me can't see it in the listed mods when trying to host on LAN etc. *sigh* yet another game to study up shtuff to figure out where to put what :roll:

The filing systen is a lot different. I think it goes somewhere in: Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UT Game.

You did, and I did (what was posted) but still wasn't able to see it in the mutator list. I was able to extract some maps yesterday with no problems, but after doing the extract on the mutator files - I'll have to check when I get home to see if they were put in the right places and if not will do manually. Also I don't think the .ini stuff was posted so that will give me something to copy over or change if the listed settings are different.

Your mod will probably be the only thing that draws us into playing it more. DM is ok and ctf etc. but there's just something about the added challenge of vehicles that makes UT a lot of fun.

A few of us joined tonight and a couple things to note: 1. The player skins seemed to be all white (?) 2. Couldn't vote off of deck17 or whatever its called...kept reverting to deck. :(
